Impact & Financial Transparency

We believe trust is built through clarity. As a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, we are committed to stewarding every donation with integrity, responsibility, and purpose. Shown here is a snapshot of both our financial activity and our community impact over the most recent year.

Our Mission in Action

The Broody Hen exists to create meaningful work, purpose, and belonging for adults with disabilities through farming, handmade goods, and community engagement.

In the past year, we:

  • Partnered with a local high school’s Transition 2 Program for a full academic year

  • Provided hands-on vocational exposure at our farm and farm stand

  • Facilitated skill-building in gardening, animal care, sales, and responsibility

  • Created community-based work opportunities through farm stand sales

  • Expanded our infrastructure to support future growth

  • Began development of our you-pick tulip program

  • Built deeper relationships with families and local supporters

Much of our programming was made possible through volunteer leadership, coordinated partnerships, and in-kind support as we continue building sustainable funding.
