Leadership & Board of Directors
The Broody Hen is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors who bring lived experience, professional expertise, and deep community commitment to our mission.
Our leadership reflects both personal understanding of disability advocacy and practical experience in education, programming, and nonprofit operations.
Together, we provide oversight, accountability, and strategic direction as The Broody Hen grows.

Community Partners
Michelle is the landowner who generously hosts The Broody Hen on her five-acre property. As a mother of seven children and foster parent to another, including two children with special needs, she brings both lived experience and extraordinary commitment to the mission.
Her partnership made the launch of The Broody Hen farm stand possible. She and her family are currently building a multipurpose structure to allow for an indoor farm stand and weather-protected programming space.
Michelle’s support — both logistical and personal — has been foundational in helping The Broody Hen grow from vision to reality.
Property HostMichelle Aull
Mr. Cam, as students affectionately call him, is a teacher’s assistant with the local Transition 2 class that partners with The Broody Hen. He helps connect classroom learning with real-world vocational experiences at the farm.
Cam previously served as a director with Young Life and remains actively involved with Young Life’s Capernaum program, which supports individuals with disabilities. As a father of a son with disabilities himself, he brings both leadership experience and personal understanding to the work.
In addition to his role in education, Cam owns and operates a lawn care business and helps with land maintenance and stewardship at the farm. He has built strong relationships with many of the young men we serve, offering mentorship, encouragement, and practical life skills.
