At The Broody Hen, we dream of more than just a farm.
We envision a thriving, inclusive village where:

  • Teens and adults with special needs connect with the land, animals, community—and each other

  • Families can find respite, support, and connection with others who share similar life experiences

To bring this dream to life, we’re starting where we are—using what we have and growing in our gifts, knowledge, and skills.

This is where YOU come in!

We’re looking for volunteers to help with:

  • Gardening projects

  • Building raised garden beds

  • Creating housing for goats

  • Constructing a greenhouse

Future goals include:

  • Building a dedicated storage space for garden and landscaping tools

  • Clearing land and removing fallen trees

  • Gathering sticks and deadfall to build raised beds

  • Creating accessible pathways throughout the property
