Our Road Ahead

At The Broody Hen, we believe every person deserves meaningful work, community, and a place where they belong.

What began as a small farm vision is growing into something much bigger — a community where adults with disabilities can develop skills, build friendships, live independently, and experience purpose through hands-on work, creativity, and shared life.

We are building this one step at a time.

Our goal is not just to run a program. Our goal is to create a model of inclusion, dignity, and opportunity that can grow for generations. Below is a glimpse of where we are headed.

A timeline infographic titled "Our Road Ahead" with a subtitle about growing opportunities, community, and meaningful work for adults with disabilities. It spans from 2026 to 2030 with five sections: Building the Foundation in 2026, Expanding Opportunities in 2027, Preparing for a Permanent Home in 2028, Building The Broody Hen Campus in 2029, and A Thriving Community in 2030. Each section lists goals and activities related to inclusion, community, and development.

We are building The Broody Hen one step at a time. This roadmap shows how our programs, community, and vision will grow in the years ahead.

A rural setting with a dirt road leading to a wooden barn called 'The Broody Hen'. There is a pond to the left, a large tree overhanging the path, and a parking lot with cars in front of the barn. Surrounding the area are farmland, small houses, and a greenhouse, under a partly cloudy sky.

Every step of this vision is made possible by the support of our community.
