Volunteer With The Broody Hen

Growing Community. Cultivating Purpose. Building Independence.

As we grow, we are building intentional leadership roles to strengthen infrastructure, prevent burnout, and support long-term sustainability. These roles require some experience, a willingness to learn, consistency, and a heart for our mission.

These are commitment-based roles designed for those ready to help build systems and steward growth.

Corporate & Group Volunteer Days

Businesses, churches, civic groups, and schools can partner with The Broody Hen through structured volunteer days that support meaningful projects.

01
Team Projects

We design structured, hands-on projects that allow groups to work together toward a shared goal. Whether building gardne beds, preparing seasonal planting areas, organizing barn spaces, or improving farm infrastructure, each project is clearly defined and achievable with the scheduled timeframe. Teams leave knowing exactly what they accomplished and how is support the long-term sustainability of our programs.

02
Skill-Based Service

For groups or individuals with specialized expertise, we offer opportunities to apply professional skills in meaningful ways. This may include marketing support, landscaping design, carpentry, financial consulting, strategic planning or even coordination. Skill-based service strengthens our infrastructure and allows us to steward resources wisely while expanding opportunities for the adults we serve.

03
Community Impact

Every volunteer day contributes directly to our mission of providing meaningful work and community for adults with disabilities. By strengthening our farm operations and facilities, your team helps create safe, consistent environments where participants can build confidence, independence, and vocational skills. The impact extends far beyond a single day — it supports sustainable growth and lasting opportunity.

Our Commitment to Sustainable Growth

If you feel called to be part of something meaningful — whether in leadership, weekly service or a one-day project — we invite you to take the next step.

Together we are cultivating dignity, independence, and community.
