Fitness at the Farm
Join us Friday night at the Farm for Farm Fitness!
Led by certified fitness coach Sue Ehinger, this class is all about having fun with friends while improving balance, coordination, and strength — using body weight and light dumbbells.
Coach Sue began this journey with her daughter, Grace, who has Down syndrome, and a few of her friends. What started as a way to move together has grown into a welcoming fitness class now open to our Nolensville community.
We ask for a non-refundable $10 donation per attendee to help support the materials and preparation that make these classes possible for our nonprofit.
Please complete the form below and submit your donation so we can plan accordingly. We can’t wait to move with you!

Oh My Chives Pop Up Farm Stand
Join us on Wednesdays this Fall and Winter at Oh My Chives!
We’ll be selling all your favorites — and adding plenty of new goodies, too. If you love fresh eggs, sourdough bread, handmade goods, and crafts, you’ll want to stop by The Broody Hen inside Oh My Chives. Come grab a coffee with a friend, stay for a bit, and shop local. We can’t wait to see you!
Our farm stand this season is staffed by students from an area high school who have completed their studies and are now part of Transition 2 — a program designed for young adults with disabilities. Transition 2 gives students the opportunity to build confidence and job skills by engaging with the community and gaining hands-on work experience.
Our students are learning how to interact with customers, handle transactions (cash, Venmo, or card), and understand the full process of bringing products from farm to stand. We’re so proud of their hard work and growth as they explore this next chapter of their lives.
At The Broody Hen, we hope to continue supporting their journey — and one day, welcome them as members of our own team.

Crafts on the Farm
Here at The Broody Hen, we love to create!
So far this year, we’ve made plant and garden stakes, painted with sticks, sponges, and brushes, and even designed our own bracelets. Each Crafts on the Farm gathering is unique and designed to bring families together — siblings, friends, and loved ones alike.
While we focus on creating activities that engage individuals with disabilities, we also plan with siblings in mind, making it easy for parents to bring the whole family and connect with others who share similar life experiences.
Beyond the joy of creating together, these projects often become something even more special — some of our handmade creations are sold within our community, helping us raise funds to employ our friends with disabilities.
We ask for a non-refundable $10 donation per attendee to help support the materials, supplies, and preparation that make these gatherings possible for our nonprofit.
So, join us on Fridays for Crafts on the Farm — a time to create, connect, and celebrate togetherness!

Fall Family Fun at the Farm
Mark your calendars for October 25, 2025 and come celebrate Fall with us.
We will be hosting Family Fun Day at the Farm with games, farm stand goodies, friends and family.

Join The Broody Hen on Wednesdays at Oh My Chives in Nolensville and help us as we support individuals with disabilities learn about farming, interacting with the community, and selling goods to the public.

Volunteer Work Day
There is always work to be done when running a farm. Add a non-profit to that work, and the work grows! But together, we can make a difference. Join us for a day of fun, projects, and free food at the farm!

Crafts on the Farm!
Join us Friday evening, as we express ourselves through the artistic strokes of the paint brush. Having loved mixed media, art, and painting for awhile now, I want to try creating a community piece where all of our friends come together, paint, have fun with friends and simply enjoy creating. My hope is to take the final pieces and turn them into a collage for all to enjoy!
This event is for our friends, their siblings, and family members. Come sit and paint and enjoy an evening of art and relaxation.

Fitness at the Farm
We are so excited to offer our second fitness at the farm event and look forward to seeing you! Be sure to sign up on our events page to help us plan accordingly!

Join The Broody Hen at Oh My Chives from 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. this fall and winter! We are excited to partner with one of our local Transition 2 classes--a post secondary program for individuals with disabilities -- to offer a place where these students can learn life skills and work place etiquette. We are incredibly excited to have the support of Oh My Chives, a local eatery and natural market.

Farm Stand Wednesday
Join us at the farm for Farm Stand Wednesday!
This farm stand Wednesday is a little different, but bare with us as we make a slight transition. And read carefully.
We are excited to be partnering with the Transition 2 class from one of our local high schools and will be starting something new beginning Wednesday, Sept. 3 when we partner with Oh My Chives, a local breakfast and lunch market.
Partnering with this business gives us the opportunity to have an indoor market each Wednesday through the fall and winter months as well as give individuals with disabilities on-the-job training at The Broody Hen. We will be selling our baked goods and veggies at Oh My Chives on Wednesdays from 8:40-10:40. That which does not sell will be at the farm stand on Kidd Road from 4:00-7:00 pm where we will host an honor system pickup and pay.
Prior to Sept. 3 we are hosting a pre-order for a 4-7 pm pickup and pay using the honor system to help everyone adjust to this change.
Per usual, we will have duck and chicken eggs, sourdough bread, honey, tallow skin care, blueberry lemon zest jam, handmade game-day bracelets and so much more!
Thank you for your continued support as we transition!
Hope you can stop by Wednesday for your regular goods.
